Senior Curriculum Content Specialist
Elizabeth Chavez has a master's degree in Education for Students with Special Needs and Abilities, and became a Brain Power Wellness instructor in 2019 after serving as her school's BPW Teacher Leader. She is currently BPW's Head of Curriculum & Project Manager.
She is also a grounded, heart-centered transformational life coach, who draws on her varied training and experience in: neuroplasticity & brain science, SEL & emotional alchemy, parts work, trauma-informed care, inner-child healing, authentic relating & relationship skills, yoga, qigong & tai chi, embodied movement, breathwork, mindfulness practices, meditation, sound healing, energy healing, Krav Maga, and combat martial arts.
She believes that social-emotional learning and mind-body wellness should be considered a necessity, not a luxury, because it is essential to healthy development and healing, both for children and adults. She is so grateful for the opportunity and ability to share with others the tools and practices they can use to become the healthiest, happiest, most powerful version of themselves!
